DeFever 41T

Our DeFever 41T trawler was built in July 1987 (hull #109) by Bluewater Yacht Builders in Taiwan.

We owned Saphædra for 2.5 years and took delivery at Gros Morne, Newfoundland. Her previous owners named her Shilandi (a Newfoundland Dragonfly) and cruised Newfoundland and Labrador for 12 years.

Saphædra, according to a New York Yacht Club publication of 1877, is a Goddess of Tides and Currents. We put over 400 hours on her and had a number of great passages.
